1. Dal Lake
Dal Lake, renowned as "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir" is situated in Srinagar, India. Being the second largest lake in Kashmir it attracts tourists in and outside the country.
It is famous for its houseboats and Shikaras. Floating gardens and a center island known as Char Chinar are other attractions.
The lake is surrounded by the Mughal gardens which are built during the reign of Mughal Emperor Jahangir.
Kadamakkudy is situated in the suburbs of Kochi, Kerala. It is an ideal place to experience the god's own Kerala's beauty at its best.
It welcomes its visitors with a lush view of its backwaters and paddy field. It is a home for seasonal migratory birds and a paradise for bird watchers.
'Kettukalakku' fest is organized by the authorities every year and it offers an excellent option to watch live fish catching, cooking and many more.
3. Marine Drive Kochi
This is one of the most popular hangout places of Kochi, Kerala. Marine drive walkway starts from High court junction and continues till Rajendra Maidan.
It is an excellent place to enjoy the setting sun in the backgrounds of Vembanad lake. The main attractions include the three bridges Rainbow bridge, Kettuvallam Bridge and Chinese fishing net bridge along the walkway.
Even though the name says Marine 'drive', vehicles are not allowed along the walkway.
